  • Common IPL Questions
    1. What does IPL treat? Intense pulsed light (IPL) is an effective laser treatment for brown and red pigmentation due to sun damage, age spots, rosacea, acne, acne scarring, and broken capillaries. IPL treatments can be done on fair to medium skin tones to help create an even complexion. 2. What is the downtime after an IPL? After your IPL treatment you can experience mild to moderate redness which can last 24-72 hours. Generally most patients can return to their normal activities within a few hours after treatment, with the exception of excessive sweating and exercise. The pigment in the targeted treatment areas will turn darker in the 48 hours following treatment and will look like speckled coffee grounds that will gradually flake off. It's important to not exfoliate this area while pigmentation is flaking or peeling off as this is a normal healing response. It is important to avoid significant sun exposure and to wear sunscreen in the week following treatment. 3. How long is an IPL treatment? An average IPL session takes 30 minutes, depending on your targeted treatment area(s). It is recommended to do a series of 3-4 sessions to see full results of an IPL treatment. Each session should be spaced 4-6 weeks apart. 4. What are the DO’s and DON'Ts with an IPL Treatment? We can not perform an IPL treatment if there is freshly tanned skin on the body (spray tan, self tanner, tanning bed, or recent sun exposure). We also can not do IPL treatments on darker skin tones as we do not want to cause hypopigmentation (Fitzpatrick Skin Type V or VI). You can cleanse and moisturize your skin like normal after your treatment. It is recommended to avoid chemical peels, direct sun exposure, waxing, or retinol products for 2 weeks after your IPL. You may apply makeup the day after your treatment. 5. Are IPL treatments painful? Patients can expect to feel a quick zap of energy (heat). The sensation feels like a light snap from a rubber band. IPL treatments cause very little discomfort and are usually tolerated very well. Your provider will check in with you and can always adjust to your comfort level.
  • Common Frax Laser Questions
    1. What is a Frax laser and how does it work? Frax is a non-ablative (does not remove the entire outer layer of the epidermis) laser resurfacing treatment. It uses advanced resurfacing technology that vaporizes fractionated columns of the skin. Because the laser beam is fractionated, or broken up into micro columns, recovery is much faster creating minimal downtime. It also encourages collagen production as it works on the deeper layers of the skin. 2. What skin concerns does the Frax treat? The Frax laser can treat a wide variety of skin concerns such as: Fine lines and wrinkles Acne Scars Sun damage Age spots Hyperpigmentation Texture Tightening of the skin Stretch marks 3. What is the after care? The healing process can take 5-7 days depending how aggressive the treatment is. The skin may appear red or brown directly after treatment. Avoid any active ingredients in your skin care routine such as salicylic acid, glycolic acid, retinol, Vitamin C, and benzoyl peroxide for 5-7 days. Do not use any abrasive exfoliants on the skin such as towels or scrubs during the healing process as it may compromise results. Avoid heat directly after treatment such as saunas, hot tubs, hot showers, or working out. Avoid wearing makeup for 24 hours or until the skin is no longer pink or flaking. Use a gentle cleanser and moisturizer while the skin is healing. 4. Is a Frax treatment painful? Prescription strength topical numbing cream is applied to the skin prior to treatment to help make patients as comfortable as possible. The frax laser is described as a hot feeling on the skin but is tolerable with numbing cream. 5. How many Frax treatments will I need? We recommend 3 Frax treatments spaced 4 weeks apart. The treatment typically takes an hour which includes time for numbing.
  • Common Laser Hair Removal Questions
    1. How does laser hair removal work? Laser hair removal involves the use of laser pulses. These pulses admit light and heat into the skin to target and destroy the hair follicle and root. When the root and follicle are targeted and destroyed, hair can no longer grow. For this process to work the hair must be targeted during an active growth phase of the cycle. However, the hair growth phase is different for everyone. Therefore, it takes multiple sessions to get every hair in the growth phase. 2. Does laser hair removal hurt? For most people, laser hair removal is very tolerable. Most people say it feels like a snapping rubber band. The treatment is quick. 3. How long does laser hair removal last? Some people see little to no hair after completing a series of treatments, while some may need touch ups every 6 to 12 months. Results vary depending on hormones, skin type, and hair type. Being consistent with treatment also affects how successful your results will be. 4. How many sessions will I need and how often? The amount of sessions depends on your hormones, skin type, and coarseness of hair. Typically people with coarser hair, imbalanced hormones and PCOS will need more sessions. Depending on the area and speed of the hair growth, you should be coming in every 4-8 weeks to get the best results and can plan on at least 6 to 8 sessions. Your provider will help determine the best treatment plan for your individual needs. 5. How do you prepare for laser hair removal? Please avoid waxing, plucking, threading, and tanning for 4 weeks before your first appointment. Please shower and/or shave before your appointment. The closer the shave the better the laser can target the root of the hair. Please avoid putting on any lotions/products on the treatment area the day of the treatment. 6. What is the after care? It is very important to avoid heat directly after laser hair removal (saunas, hot tubs, hot showers, etc). Please make sure to exercise prior to your appointment that day to avoid irritation to the treated area(s). The treated hair follicles will not fall out immediately after your treatment; they will slowly shed over a few days/weeks; please do not exfoliate the skin of the area(s) treated for 1 week after your treatment. You may be red and/or swollen immediately after but that should subside quickly after treatment.
  • How quickly does the acne lesion resolve after injection?
Typically lesions resolve within 24 hours of injection but results do vary based on the lesion size and severity.
  • What type of acne can be injected?
The acne lesion has to be larger in size and deeper within the tissues. We call these acne lesions cystic acne. White heads and black heads that are closer to the surface can not be treated with acne injection medication.
  • How much does an acne injection cost?
Pricing may vary but typically the cost is $50 per lesion. If multiple lesions are present, the cost may be reduced and will be discussed prior to treatment.
  • Pre-Treatment Care
Avoid alcohol and smoking 72 hours before treatment. Avoid dental work 2 weeks prior to and after the procedure. Avoid Aspirin, Ibuprofen, Advil, Motrin, Aleve, Naproxen, St. John’s Wort, oral Vitamin E, and non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDS) in the 24 hours prior to your treatment as they may promote the risk of bruising and bleeding in the injection area. If you are currently taking anticoagulation medications (Warfarin, Coumadin, Heparin, Lovenox, Enoxaparin, Lepirudin, Refludan, Ticlopidine Ticlid, Clopidogrel, Plavix, Tirofiban, Aggrastat, Eptifibatide, Integrilin), please discuss the use of these medications with your healthcare provider prior to your treatment. You may or may not be a candidate for treatment with cosmetic dermal fillers or threads. If you are prone to cold sores (oral herpes simplex) and are having threads done around the mouth area, please take your prescribed medication (Famvir, Famciclovir, Valtrex, Valacyclovir, Acyclovir) as prescribed in the 24 hours prior to your treatment. Do not use PDO Threads if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, are allergic to any of its ingredients, or suffer from any neurological disorders.
  • Post-Treatment Care
Ice the treated area for 5-10 minutes at a time every hour as needed for the first week (if you are experiencing slight bruising or swelling). Do not wash or touch your face for at least 12 hours. Restrict facial movements such as opening jaw wide or excessive smiling for one day. Avoid applying makeup or facial cream for at least two days or until tenderness has subsided. Do not pull your skin, massage, scrub, or deeply exfoliate the skin for at least three weeks. Do not perform any strenuous activity or heavy lifting for one week. Try keeping your head elevated while sleeping for a week (not mandatory but may help with swelling). Sleep on your back vs your side or stomach to prevent any swelling. Avoid straining or placing pressure on your face (no facial massages or massages that require you to put your face down ) for 3 weeks. Avoid heat in treatment area such as saunas, IPL lasers, radio frequency, RF microneedling, etc. for 30 days. Avoid medication that affects blood clotting such as fish oils and vitamins A & E for 7 days to minimize bruising. You may take Acetaminophen/Tylenol if you experience tenderness or discomfort.
  • Common Microdermabrasion Questions
    1. What is microdermabrasion? Microdermabrasion is a procedure that exfoliates and removes dry dead skin cells via a vacuum suction device. Microdermabrasion buffs off and smooths dead skin cells with fine crystals or a diamond tip. 2. What skin concerns does this treatment help with? Comparable to dermaplaning, this treatment rejuvenates dull and dry skin. It targets: Fine lines Age spots Acne scars Stretch marks Dull complexions Uneven skin texture Enlarged pores 3. How often can I get this treatment? Microdermabrasion can be done every 3-4 weeks depending on your skin type and skin concerns. A lot of patients like to do a microdermabrasion treatment a few weeks after a chemical peel or microneedling treatment to rid the final flaking. 4. What is the downtime of this treatment? Microdermabrasion has little to no downtime. You can expect to see some redness (due to the vacuum suction) after your treatment which will subside in a couple hours to a day. However, you will want to wear sunscreen after your treatment to protect your new layer of skin.
  • Common Dermaplane Questions
    1. What is dermaplaning? Dermaplaning is a safe and simple treatment for exfoliating dead skin cells; it also rids the skin of the fine vellus hair (peach fuzz). The technique is performed by using a sterile scalpel. The treatment makes your skin smooth and glowy, allowing products to penetrate more effectively, and also helps create a smooth makeup application. 2. What skin conditions and types are safe for dermaplaning? All skin types can benefit from dermaplaning. Dermaplaning helps with fine lines, wrinkles, dull skin, pigmentation, and non-raised scarring. Dermaplaning can not be performed on active acne lesions, severely compromised skin textures, those on Accutane, or those who have had recent laser treatments. 3. What should I do before a dermaplane? Do not use Retin-A or other exfoliating creams 72 hours prior to your treatment. Avoid sun tanning or tanning creams/sprays for at least a week before treatment. Patients who have had a recent chemical peel or other skin procedure, such as Botox or filler injections, should wait two weeks before undergoing dermaplaning. Patients should also refrain from waxing the skin to be treated for 72 hours prior to dermaplaning. Do not be out in the sun without sunscreen while your skin is healing. 4. How often can I get a dermaplane? You can get a dermaplane every 3-4 Weeks. 5. When the hair is removed will it grow back thicker and faster? No, the hair will grow back slowly in about 4 weeks and no different than it was previously. 6. Is dermaplaning painful? Dermaplaning is not painful and most say it is a relaxing treatment. The sensation can be compared to shaving your legs.
  • When can I wear makeup or workout after microneedling?
It is recommended to wait 24 hours before wearing makeup or working out/sweating after microneedling to allow the open wounds an opportunity to heal.
  • Are microneedling results immediate?
Results may be seen immediately after the first session, however, it is more common to see best results 4-6 weeks after the treatment as it takes time for collagen to produce. Most patients will need a series of treatments, 3-5 treatments spaced 4-6 weeks apart to see best results.
  • What does microneedling do?
Microneedling creates tiny punctures or microchannels in the skin which stimulates collagen and new tissue production. Collagen is a protein that helps to improve the appearance of wrinkles, scars, and other texture concerns. Microneedling is an excellent treatment for those who have acne scars, a bumpy skin texture, or multiple fine lines and wrinkles.
  • What will I look like after microneedling?
You may look red or have a “sunburned” appearance immediately after the treatment. This immediate redness will calm down hour by hour. By 24 hours your skin may have a slight pink tone or it may be back to a normal color.
  • Does microneedling hurt?
A prescription strength topical numbing cream is applied to the skin and allowed to absorb for 20-30 minutes prior to beginning the treatment. Most patients feel very little pain or discomfort when the treatment is performed with numbing cream. Once the numbing wears off, it is common to feel some heat and mild discomfort while the microchannels are healing. A great way to aid in faster healing is to do platelet rich plasma (PRP) in combination with microneedling.
  • What is a chemical peel?
A chemical peel is a non-surgical aesthetic procedure in which an acidic solution is applied to the skin, breaking the bonds between old skin cells and effectively sloughing off the outermost layer of old, dead skin. This removal of dead skin cells reveals new, fresh skin, and encourages new skin cell development while boosting collagen production.
  • What should I not do after a peel?
Do NOT exfoliate the skin or rub your face with a towel directly after a peel as this can damage the skin. Do not workout, take hot showers, sit in hot tubs or saunas for a minimum of 24 hours after your peel application. Depending on the peel, you may not be able to workout/sweat for a few days until the majority of peeling has subsided; sweat blisters and/or infection could occur if you workout aggressively during the peeling process. Do NOT peel or pick the skin off yourself when you are peeling; you may trim the dead skin but picking/peeling could cause damage and potentially scarring.
  • What can I expect for recovery time after a chemical peel?
Recovery time from a chemical peel can vary depending on intensity and depth of the peel. Light peels typically take 5-7 days to heal and include mild flaking, if any. You may be slightly red after the peel for 24 hours. You may wear makeup after 24 hours if no visible healing is present. Deeper chemical peels may produce sheet-like peeling, with the greatest amount of peeling on day 3-5. We typically tell patients to plan on a full week of peeling/flaking with deeper chemical peels such as the VI Peel, ZO 3 Step Peel, and Advanced Corrective Peel.
  • Do chemical peels hurt?
Superficial or light peels are less aggressive causing a temporary tingling/warm sensation. It is also common to feel itchy, but most patients do not report severe discomfort. Certain deeper peels can include a numbing agent to help with discomfort.
  • What conditions do chemical peels treat?
Chemical peels treat a wide variety of skin conditions such as acne, acne scars, wrinkles, sun spots, uneven pigment, sebaceous hyperplasia, enlarged pores, rough texture, and dull skin. Depending on the extent of correction needed, the depth and intensity of the chemical peel can be adjusted, addressing mild to severe skin conditions.
  • Post-Treatment Care
Do not wear makeup over the lesion for at least 8 hours or until the lesion has healed. Do not workout excessively causing sweat to produce for the remainder of the treatment day. Do not attempt to squeeze or extract the lesion after the medication is injected.
  • Pre-Treatment Care
Do not attempt to pop the cystic lesion prior to your appointment. This could cause the medication to leak out resulting in a less effective result. Do not wear makeup over the lesion.
  • Pre-Treatment Care
Please reschedule if you develop a fever, cold, flu, or generalized inflammation. Use of PRP treatment with a heightened immune system increases risks for complications. We recommend treating no sooner than 3-4 weeks before a special event or upcoming vacation to allow time for adequate healing and swelling to subside. If you have a history of cold sores, consider beginning prophylactic treatment with Valtrex or similar no later than the day of treatment. Discontinue use of anti-inflammatory drugs, steroidal and non-steroidal (i.e. aspirin, ibuprofen, Motrin, Aleve, Advil, Medrol, prednisone) at least 1 week before your treatment. With PRP, we want inflammation after the injection as this is one of the mechanisms of how PRP works. If you are or have been on steroids within 2 weeks of treatment we cannot treat you. Consult your physician for approval to discontinue the use of steroids and receive treatment. Discontinue use of any other blood-thinning agents such as Vitamin E, Vitamin A, Ginkgo Biloba, Garlic, Flax Oil, Cod Liver Oil, Omega3, Fish Oil, Essential Fatty Acids (EFA’s and DHA’s) etc. at least 1 week before and after treatment to minimize bruising and bleeding. We recommend avoiding alcohol 2-3 days before the procedure.
  • Post-Treatment Care
Do NOT touch, press, rub, or manipulate the treated area (s) for at least 8 hours after your treatment. It is normal to experience: bruising, redness, itching, soreness, and swelling lasting up to 10 days following your procedure. AVOID Aspirin, Motrin, Ibuprofen, Aleve, etc. (all non-steroidal and steroidal anti-inflammatory agents) for 6 weeks if possible. Remember, we are creating inflammation to initiate the rebuilding and repair process. If you experience discomfort or pain, you may take Tylenol or other Acetaminophen products. You may apply ice as needed for comfort after the procedure, but keep in mind this also limits the necessary inflammatory process. Do not use any lotions, creams, or makeup for at least 8 hours after your treatment. AVOID vigorous exercise and sun/heat exposure for at least 48 hours after your treatment. Use an SPF 30 or higher. AVOID alcohol for 48 hours post procedure. Smoking impairs healing times therefore increases chances of complications and reduces effectiveness of treatment.
  • Post-Treatment Care
Avoid dental procedure (including cleaning) 2 weeks post filler. The majority of reactions to dermal fillers are redness, swelling, bruising and tenderness after the injections. These usually subside a few days after the treatment, but can last up to a week. Lumps/bumps may take 1-2 weeks to soften and settle in. You may apply/take bromelain/arnica topically and or orally to help with bruising. Cold compresses may be used after the treatment to reduce swelling and decrease soreness. You may take Tylenol (if not contraindicated) every 4-6 hours after the treatment to help with any discomfort you may have. Make-up may be applied 8 hours after the treatment, if no complications are present, such as open wounds, bleeding or infection. In the first 24 hours following treatment, limit exposure to sunlight. Extensive sun or heat exposure and alcoholic beverages may cause a temporary increase in redness, bruising or swelling at the injection sites. If exposed to sunlight, wear sunscreen. Patients should avoid strenuous exercise for 48 hours to prevent moving the filler or increasing blood flow to the face. Avoid taking aspirin (unless medically necessary) or other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs such as Ibuprofen, Advil®, Motrin®, Nuprin®, Aleve®,Celebrex®, Fish oil, Ginkgo Biloba, St. John’s Wort and high doses of vitamin E for 5 days after the treatment, as these may cause an increased risk of bleeding or bruising at the injection sites. Avoid excessive touching or massaging the treated areas for about 8 hours after the injections. The treated areas can be washed with a gentle cleanser.
  • Pre-Treatment Care
2 Weeks Prior to Injections Avoid immunizations/vaccinations and dental procedures (including cleanings). 1 Week Prior to Injections Avoid blood thinning over-the-counter medications such as aspirin, Motrin, ibuprofen, and Aleve. If you are taking prescription blood thinners such as Coumadin or Plavix, you should check with the prescribing doctor to see if you are able to stop these medicines for 7-10 days before your appointment and at least 2 days after the procedure has been done. Avoid over the counter supplements such as, St. John’s Wort, Ginkgo biloba, primrose oil, garlic, ginseng, and Vitamin E. 2 Days Prior to Injections Avoid waxing, bleaching, tweezing, or using hair removal cream on the area to be treated. Start taking Arnica two days prior to the procedure. (This is not required, but it will help to lessen bruising.) If you have previously suffered from facial cold sores, there is a risk that the needle punctures could contribute to another eruption of cold sores. Please let your aesthetic injector know so we may prescribe an antiviral if needed. You may start taking anti-viral medication 2 days prior to your treatment to help prevent an outbreak. Avoid topical products such as Tretinoin (Retin-A), Retinol, Retinoids, Glycolic Acid, or any “anti-aging” products. 24 Hours Prior to Injections Avoid alcoholic beverages for 24 hours prior to procedure as this can increase the risk for bleeding and bruising at the treated site(s). If you are prone to cold sores (oral herpes simplex) and are having filler done around the mouth area, please take your prescribed medication (Famvir, Famciclovir, Valtrex, Valacyclovir, Acyclovir) as prescribed in the 24 hours prior to your treatment.

  • What is the difference between the two thread options (thread lift and smaller collagen threads)?
Both threads help stimulate new collagen and have a similar makeup as sutures or stitches one gets following an injury. A thread lift is for a patient who has mild skin laxity and desires a more lifted appearance. These threads are larger in length and diameter. Smaller collagen threads help build collagen and do not help with skin laxity but are great for areas where fine lines tend to form (around the mouth, fine lines of cheek, fine lines around the eyes, fine lines between the brows, etc.).
  • What is the downtime after a thread procedure?
We ask our patients to avoid strenuous exercise for at least 24 hours after the procedure is complete. We advise our patients to avoid facial treatments for at least 2 weeks following the procedure to make sure the threads do not get compromised; Botox/Dysport/Xeomin is safe to do in conjunction with threads. Makeup and facial products can be worn the following day. Bruising is always a possibility with any thread procedure.
  • How long will threads last?
Lifting threads slowly dissolve over the course of 6 months but the collagen stimulation effect lasts up to 10 months. Smaller collagen threads dissolve after 1 month but the collagen stimulation effect lasts up to 3 months (great to do at the same time as your Botox treatment). You may add additional threads at any time during the course of the treatment, even before other threads fully dissolve.
  • Where can I find Bloom's new client paperwork?
New client paperwork can be downloaded from this link.
  • Does a thread procedure hurt?
A numbing anesthetic is injected prior to the treatment to help make the treatment as comfortable as possible. Some patients report pressure and moments of pain that resolve quickly. After the treatment is done, patients may have some tenderness in the areas treated for a few days. “Zingers” or nerve sensations may occur in the weeks following your treatment, but most patients state this is infrequent.
  • What is Bloom's policy for cancellations?
It is required that you give Bloom 24 hours notice before canceling or moving an appointment. If you do not give 24 hours notice, there will be a $50 late cancelation fee. We keep a credit card on file for that reason.
  • How much do threads cost?
The cost of a thread lift ranges from $880-1760 per area treated. Cost depends on how many threads are needed to achieve desired results. Collagen stimulating threads cost roughly $400 per area.
  • How does Sculptra work?
Sculptra contains poly-L-lactic acid, which helps stimulate collagen growth over time. This gradual process results in increased facial volume and improved skin texture.
  • How much is Sculptra?
799 per vial, multiple vials may be needed to achieve desired results.
  • Can Sculptra be combined with other treatments?
Sculptra can be used in conjunction with other aesthetic treatments, such as dermal fillers or neuromodulators, to achieve comprehensive facial rejuvenation.
  • What is Bloom's policy for cancellations?
It is required that you give Bloom 24 hours notice before canceling or moving an appointment. If you do not give 24 hours notice, there will be a $50 late cancelation fee. We keep a credit card on file for that reason.
  • What is Sculptra?
Sculptra is an FDA-approved injectable dermal filler that stimulates collagen production, providing a more gradual and natural-looking improvement in facial volume.
  • Is there any downtime after Sculptra injections?
While there may be some swelling or bruising, many individuals can resume their normal activities immediately after treatment.
  • How is Sculptra different from other dermal fillers?
Unlike hyaluronic acid fillers, Sculptra works by stimulating the body's collagen production, providing a more subtle and natural-looking enhancement.
  • Is Sculptra suitable for everyone?
Sculptra is generally suitable for healthy individuals seeking facial rejuvenation and volume restoration. However, a consultation with a qualified healthcare provider is essential to determine suitability.
  • Where can I find Bloom's new client paperwork?
New client paperwork can be downloaded from this link.

  • Can I add services on?
Absolutely! If you are wanting to enhance your treatment, ask your Bloom expert what treatments would be best to add on to your membership treatment. Pricing varies and will be discussed during your consultation.
  • Am I locked into a contract?
As with any skin products or procedures, usually a series of treatments are needed to achieve excellent outcomes. In order to provide the best results for your skin, a minimum of 6 months is required.
  • Can I substitute treatments?
A thorough assessment will be made during your consultation to determine the best treatment plan for your skin. Your provider will help guide you month to month regarding which treatment would be best.
  • How long does Botox last?
Typically, Botox starts to kick in about 3 days after your treatment with full results visible by day 14. Botox lasts roughly 3-4 months but varies from patient to patient. Some patients may require more units to get a longer duration of effect. Most patients start to see a gradual return of the wrinkle movement and that is a good sign of when you should come back in for your next treatment.
  • What is Bloom's policy for cancellations?
It is required that you give Bloom 24 hours notice before canceling or moving an appointment. If you do not give 24 hours notice, there will be a $50 late cancelation fee. We keep a credit card on file for that reason.
  • How much does Botox cost?
Botox can be used in multiple areas of the face and body. Pricing will depend on how many areas are being treated and how much Botox is needed. At Bloom we charge $12 per unit (a term of measurement) of Botox and Xeomin and $4 per unit of Dysport (ends up being equal in price per unit to Botox and Xeomin). The number of units you will need depends on how strong your muscles are as well as your individual anatomy, age, and goals. On average, one area (between the brows) costs between $180-$240. Some people require more units than others to achieve desired results. Our providers will do an assessment prior to treatment to make sure you are aware of how much each area would cost.
  • What is the difference between Botox, Dysport, and Xeomin?
Each of these products are a brand of neurotoxin and work similarly yet have slight differences (just like Crest and Colgate are two brands of toothpaste and have the same goal yet are slightly different). You will want to avoid Dysport if you have an allergy to milk or lactose, whereas Botox and Xeomin would be acceptable alternatives. It may look like Dysport is the more affordable option at $4 per unit but it requires 3x as many units as Botox to get the same effect. All 3 brands end up being the same in price. Some patients find one brand works better for them than another. Your provider will help determine what brand is best for you.
  • Is there downtime after a Botox treatment?
We ask patients to avoid rubbing or massaging the treated area(s) for 24 hours after their treatment. We also advise patients to avoid laying down or being inverted for 4 hours after the treatment to help prevent the Botox from spreading to an unwanted area. Please make sure to do your exercise workout before your appointment to help avoid unwanted effects. As with all injection procedures, there is a risk of redness and bruising at the injection site but typically the redness resolves within a few minutes. Most patients can proceed with their day immediately after a Botox treatment.

"I'm really glad I chose Bloom Medical for a little botox. I may have scared myself watching some YT videos of botox gone wrong and was pretty nervous about it, but Beth listened to all of my concerns & answered my questions. When I went in for my appointment I was relieved that she was very gentle. They checked up on me today to see how I was doing which I really appreciate. Thank you!"
