Platelet Rich Plasma

Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) is becoming increasingly popular in the medical world for looking younger, healing quicker, and stimulating growth. Celebrities such as Angelina Jolie and Kim Kardashian have been treated with PRP to create a younger and healthier look to their face. NBA athletes such as Kobe Bryant and Stephen Curry have used PRP to get back on the court quicker after an injury. PRP has multiple uses and Bloom has the expertise and knowledge to help you meet your goals. Bloom is currently offering PRP for Hair, Face, and Neck rejuvenation.

  • Hair rejuvenation

    • Who doesn't want thick, full hair? As we age many of us know that balding and thinning of the hair occurs. With PRP we take your blood, spin it down to extract the plasma, and the strong platelets which will be used to stimulate your hair growth. Many patients have seen outstanding outcomes by using PRP for hair rejuvenation.

  • Micro-needling with PRP

    • Enhances the results of micro-needling by using your own blood platelets to heal faster and stimulate the regeneration of the skin cells through growth factors and protein rich cells. This helps create a more youthful and vibrant appearance to your skin.

How does PRP work?

First, the provider draws a small amount of your blood and places it in a centrifuge which separates the Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) from the other components of the blood. Bloom utilizes a superb quality centrifuge to obtain high concentrations of "rich plasma". Rich plasma is potent in growth factors which helps to stimulate new collagen formation.

Next the provider will spread the PRP either topically on the face, neck, or chest in combination with microneedling, or as an injection into areas such as the hair. The platelets then break down and tissue renewal begins with the potent growth factors that are contained in your PRP.

In addition to cosmetic rejuvenation procedures, PRP is widely used for its healing properties to aid in tendon, ligament, and muscle injuries. Clients can feel safe using their own "riches" to aid in healing and regeneration of tissues.
